are there sharks in the Med, some of my friends say yes some say no , if yes do the attack swimmers ever?

There are 46 different species of sharks in the Med. but they very rarely attack anyone, there are 15 potentially dangerous species.

And basically NO worries. If only 99 attacks or so in 100 years you or anyone else is NOT likely to get attacked.
As always the most dangerous predator is a two legged creature, namely MAN.

Very unlikely to be attacked by a shark, but I don't risk it, stick to a nice safe pool!
