Driven to Distraction!

It's a busy time of year on the roads: lost tourists, impatient locals, revellers who may have had too much to drink... And to top it all, this means police are out in force, monitoring traffic and handing out warnings and fines to anyone caught disobeying the rules of the road. But are you sure you know what those rules are?

Road rules

The Cars, Bikes & Driving category of The AngloFILE directory of English-speaking businesses and services has loads of INFOrmation Pages dedicated to all matters relevant to car owners and drivers in Spain.

First, the page on Driving in Spain details all the basic rules: driving age, things to carry in the car, using a mobile telephone, alcohol limits, speed limits, the obligatory road tax and more.

One of the rules is that all cars on the road must be roadworthy: find out when and how to go about checking that your car is legal to drive - see the INFOrmation Page on the ITV Vehicle Roadworthiness in Spain.

You can also find out how to ensure the legality of your driving licence, how to import a car,  how to buy or sell a car and much more. All this, and the contact details of relevant English-speaking businesses and services, is in the Cars, Bikes & Driving category of The AngloFILE.

Any questions? Why not ask other locals by using the Cars, Bikes & Driving section of The AngloINFO Discussion Forum!
